We would recommend listening to the serverPeerJoined event.


If serverPeerType returns MCU, MCU is enabled and active for your app. If serverPeerType does not return MCU, you may need to enable MCU for your App.


Alternatively, check if [YourSkylinkInstance]._hasMCU returns true. If [YourSkylinkInstance]._hasMCU returns false,  you may need to enable MCU for your App.


In the case that MCU still appears inactive even after enabling MCU for your app, please contact Temasys Support by raising a ticket on our Support Portal or emailing us at userhelp@temasys.io


Please include the following information:


  • The App Key you're using
  • The Time you faced this issue.
  • The Skylink SDK version you're using
